Tackey & Tsubasa 10th Anniversary Concerts - Tokyo Dome - September 8-9, 2012
Okay, when it was time for me to compile all my notes from these two events into a complete event report, I didn't even know where to start. How to begin? How to arrange it all? How to find a way to finish it eventually? So I just … wrote something. And here's what I ended up with!

As soon as I heard the details about the anniversary shows in Tokyo Dome I said "I'm going!" – there was no question about it. The question was rather, who wanted to go with me? As it turned out, I went together with my roommate and J-chan the first day, and with my roommate, J-chan and a friend of J-chan the second day.

The first day was the most stressful one, of course. I went there quite early during the day to buy the goods. (Sorry, I'm too lazy to find it all again from the corners of my room to take photos… But they were all very beautiful!) I bought everything. Of course. How could I resist any of it? I met Em-chan and some other nice fans for a short while, then went back home to leave the goods that I wouldn't need for the concert. The only thing really necessary is the penlight, and maybe the muffler towel if you feel like it. I didn't.

Anyway, I had very different seats on the two events. The first day I was sitting on the top floor, quite a few rows back but not too far, on the left side of the arena. I had a very good view of the whole arena (which was beautiful!) but I felt very far away from everything… The second day I was sitting on the bottom floor (not on the arena floor, there were no seats there) only a few rows back, and in the middle of the corner between the sides. The good thing was I felt sooo much closer! The bad thing was I had the safety net right in front of me… But it was still okay.

The decorations in the arena were sooo beautiful! There were balloons in all the colors of the rainbow everywhere. Just, everywhere! Most of them formed two huge Ts on either side of the main runway, and a 10 by the front stage. And then there were more balloons by all the stages and runways. Let's see, what else… There were two huge cranes, two hot-air balloons with the debut photo on them, and a whole lot of screens of course. While we waited for the show to start, they showed some commercials: 24h Cosme, the PLAYZONE'12 dvd, Kaigen, and Burn the Floor. The second day the also showed a commercial for Johnny's World and some shots from Takki's stageplays.

Okay, let's try to summarize the events! Kis-My-Ft2, A.B.C-Z and a bunch of juniors came out first, starting the Takitsuba call and waving towels while running along the sides of the arena to the intro of 空のスクリーン. Then Takki and Tsubasa appeared in cages high up towards the ceiling above the main stage. The cages were brought all the way to the front stage, being lit up by fireworks halfway, and then back to the center stage where they were brought down to the ground. The fireworks were like a rain of fire behind them, so beautiful! And then when Takki and Tsubasa left center stage to run to front stage, they did this funny look-into-the-camera-together thing.

During 夢物語 they jumped up onto carts which brought them halfway around the arena, together with a bunch of juniors each. One of the carts had a red logo, the other had a blue logo. If I remember correctly, Tsubasa went along the left side of the arena and Takki along the right side. And Tsubasa did a lot of these funny weird faces that are so typical him!

Next up was Venus on center stage. The first day this was the point where I started feeling irritated about the fact that there was a slight time delay between what I saw on the stage, and what I saw and heard from the screens. Because obviously I looked a lot at the screens too – they had close-up shots… But then I decided I would try not to care too much, haha!

The second day, Kawai from A.B.C-Z put his head on Takki's shoulder, looking all content, at the beginning of a song. I was kinda sure it was Venus, but everyone tells me it was 時間旅行. And my notes are all messy during this part, so I don't know any longer! In any case, it was very funny because at first Takki just patted his head, then flicked his hair and grinned when Kawai backed away.

However, I do know that during 時間旅行 they left center stage and while they walked through the arena there were plastic tubes in a lot of different colors which were filled with air so they kind of rose towards the ceiling, wavering back and forth slightly. Then Takki and Tsubasa disappeared backstage and some kouhais performed Can Do! Can Go! while a video compilation from the junior days was shown on the screens. I love watching these old videos of Takki, Tsubasa, Arashi members, and so on!

Then Nakayama Yuma appeared to announce Takki's solo corner. Takki appeared on a white four-wheeler which he drove from the main stage to the center stage. There he jumped off it, grabbed his pink pom-poms and it was time for 気まぐれJET! I love it! Then he drove the four-wheeler to the front stage where he sang Words of Love, and at the end he and the other guys (Kisumai and A.B.C-Z?) performed on top of the four-wheeler, humping the air. It was hilarious – especially the second day when everyone paused, and then one of the guys (don't remember who, sorry) kept humping alone – which earned him a few smacks on the head…

Then a bunch of "bad guys" appeared on motorcycles, so Takki jumped onto the four-wheeler again and they all drove around the arena. There was a fight between Takki and the bad guys on the main stage, Takki won, and drove around the arena again on a motorcycle – finishing with jumping with his vehicle from one of the ramps, and disappearing when he landed.

Just moments later he re-appeared in a cage in the air to the right of the main stage singing キ・セ・キ. It was the beautiful piano version, and I'm pretty sure it was Nakajima Kento from Sexy Zone playing the piano. Takki was brought to the small right-side stage and walked from there to the center stage where another Sexy Zone member gave him a red rose. Then they put wires on him, he put away the rose and grabbed a torch, and then he was flying! He slowly flew all the way up to the top of the main screen behind the main stage – and that was high up! There he lit a bigger torch, and at the same time it lit, the "junior mansions" on each side of the main stage were revealed, where juniors were dancing behind a veil so they were only shadows. This whole segment was so incredibly beautifully breathtaking! Takki looked so amazing while he was flying, so majestic!

Then Yuma appeared again to announce Tsubasa's solo corner. Tsubasa appeared on the main stage with some dancers, and they were standing on a moving platform. It was moving towards the center stage while they were dancing to a marching tune. It was very cool, the dancers were holding banners with the word "Ala". And when they arrived at the center stage there were three huuuge explosions! Which Tsubasa was indicating by pointing to his sides where the explosions went off.

Tsubasa performed Get Down and AXEL on the center stage, and I enjoyed both performances very much. Especially Get Down, I have to say. I've always loved it.

After this, there was a kouhai section. A.B.C-Z performed Za ABC ~5stars~ on the front stage, and then Kis-My-Ft2 performed SHE!HER!HER!. I like A.B.C-Z and their music, but I never cared a lot for Kis-My-Ft2. But I have to admit, this song was good.

Then Takki and Tsubasa appeared again for 仮面. They had these costumes that I don’t know if I like or not… Well, at least regarding Takki. He wore this black suit, with a bright yellow shirt and red necktie. Tsubasa on the other hand! He wore a black suit where the blazer was reeeaaallly low cut. And that was it. Nothing under the blazer. Just a lot of skin. I couldn't help staring. A lot.

They sang One Day One Dream, and then To be or not to be. During that song they split up, so Takki with some juniors were dancing on the small left-side stage, and Tsubasa with some juniors were dancing on the small right-side stage. The first day I could kind of focus on them both, but the second day my eyes were magically drawn to Tsubasa from start to end! I tried to watch Takki "way over there" a few times, but my gaze just kept being drawn back to Tsubasa. He was craaazyyy! He opened his blazer and kept flicking it back, and there were so much hips! He looked soooo hot, and he didn't mind showing it off. Hips, hips, hips! That's pretty much all I can remember from this song.

Then it was 愛 Check It. Takki and Tsubasa jumped into cages that were held by the huge cranes. It took some time for Tsubasa to enter his cage for some reason on the first day. In the middle of the song they went back down to let Fujigaya and another member of Kisumai enter the cages (and I guess this was when they switched to fake Takki and Tsubasa…). They went back up into the air, and for some reason opened the doors so that Takki and Tsubasa could jump. Tsubasa went first, he was high in the air, but not that high. And then he fell onto a huge air mattress. Takki was much higher up in the air, like, insanely high! And he held onto the cage, hanging beneath it, while his Kisumai member kept telling him to "hold on!", haha! But then Takki finally let go, and fell sooo far onto the air mattress! They called to each other to see if they were both alright – and then the next song started.

Ho!サマー was hilarious! They entered the arena standing in tiny log-shaped boats running along water slides or something. There were water sprouting into the air on both sides of these water slides/canals. Tsubasa was wearing nothing but black bath trunks! Takki was wearing pink bath trunks and a white t-shirt the first day, and only the bath trunks the second day. Plus a pink swimming ring. Plus a pink umbrella. For some reason Takki really didn't want to get wet! While Tsubasa did his best to get as wet as possible, putting his head and everything into the water splashes. A bunch of juniors wearing bath trunks also entered the stage and played around in the water splashes. Hilarious! And at the end of the song, Takki quickly put on his white t-shirt on the second day… Tsubasa went to the right-side stage where he was handed a leopard print bathrobe.

After this, they sang ひと夏の… and ラブ・スパイラル while riding on the carts again, and during ラブ・スパイラル some kouhais were flying around in the air. I think they were hanging beneath balloons or something, which were brought from one end of the arena to the other. I remember clearly Kawai and Fujigaya flying past Takki on the second day, because they had some fun interaction where they waved like crazy to each other! And then I think some of them had a lot of fun just spinning round and round in those wires, like doing somersaults in the air as fast as possible.

MC time! With Takki still wearing t-shirt and bath trunks, and Tsubasa wearing bath trunks and leopard print bathrobe. I don't remember so many details from the first day. I think most of the details I remember are from the second day. Anyway, I remember them doing some promotion for the new 24h Cosme kit that would be released soon. Takki demonstrated how to put the picture of them in front of the little mirror while putting on powder (and Tsubasa came to help pretend putting on powder as well), and then Takki showed the lipbalm or whatever it was – and kissed it. They also did some other promotion, for various commercials, the upcoming tour, Burn the Floor, and so on.

They also mentioned their junior days and "Kaiki Club", and Tsubasa mentioned doing another drama together. His idea was to make a new Kaiki Club, with the two of them in school uniforms. Somehow, it went so far as to maybe become a romance drama between the two of them, and that's where they finally drew the line and asked A.B.C-Z, Kisumai and Nakayama Yuma to join them on stage.

The first day, they tried to get Yuma to choose which one of them he likes best, but he managed to avoid answering. The second day, they went to him as soon as he entered the stage for the MC and asked, "Well, who do you like most? You have to decide today!" Then they went on to talk to A.B.C-Z and Kisumai for a while. They made fun of Tsuka-chan because of his high-pitched voice and excitement. Hasshi and Tsubasa demonstrated how they used to greet each other when they were doing Playzone together. It was really cute! And then there were some monomane as well. At the end of the MC, they were almost finishing it off, then they happened to notice Yuma again – and this time they didn't let him off the hook that easily! Poor boy! They pushed him so much, asking in different ways – does he like Takki or Tsubasa most? Kakumei or Playzone? And so on, and so on. Yuma tried saying that he likes both of them, but that wasn't good enough. He finally said he likes "Imai Hideaki-san!" Apparently, that was good enough…

Takki and Tsubasa left the stage to change clothes, and Kisumai started telling a story about when they went on tour with Tackey&Tsubasa a few years ago. I'm not completely sure about the details, but I think it went something like, they were somewhere in Hokkaido, it was during winter, and Senga lost a game of janken. So he had to go out on the balcony wearing only short pants. And of course, he was locked outside, by...Fujigaya? Anyway, he had to spend some time out there, and Takki and Tsubasa said when they returned to the stage that they too remember this episode. I thought it was hilarious – Senga probably didn't think so at the time…

Then all the kouhais left the stage, and at least the first day there was a Takitsuba Call. They were wearing the black suits again, where Tsubasa had nothing under the blazer. At one point, they started kind of half-pushing each other? And then Takki put his hand on Tsubasa's chest, right over his nipple! And Tsubasa looked kind of surprised. But then nothing much happened, but they took each others' hands and started jumping around for a bit before continuing with the show.

They talked a little about their junior days again, and then sang True Heart and Heartful Voice the first day, and True Heart and You & I the second day. All of those songs are soooo beautiful! They're some of the best ballad songs I know, ever. And hearing Takki and Tsubasa singing them together sends chills (the good positive kind of chills!) down all of my body. Waaah! During True Heart, they showed old videos on the screens.

Another kouhai corner. A.B.C-Z sang their new single ずっとLove, a really good song. Then Kis-My-Ft2 sang their new single WANNA BEEEE!!! – which I love. Yes, I admit it. I've loved it since the first time I heard it. They were on rollerskates for this one, going around the center stage, and in the middle of the song they turned off the lights in all of Dome. But there were colored lights on the rollerskates, and that looked so cool. Suddenly, in a pause in the music, there was a voice saying "I wanna be free!" – and that was Takki. He was sitting on the edge of the stage, wearing rollerskates too and wanting to join Kisumai. So they let him join, and it was very entertaining to see! He was actually pretty good, but not very steady, haha! They went around the center stage again, then made their way to the front stage. Takki kept trying to do the furitsuke together with Kisumai, while trying to stay upright on the rollerskates… He did a good job, though!

At the end of the song, Sexy Zone entered the arena wearing their Christmas costumes. While they were singing Sexy Zone, Takki and Kisumai left the arena – with some trouble. Takki somehow ended up with his back towards the way down from the front stage, so he had to get help from the Kisumai members to get down from there… Then he almost fell over a few times on their way to the main stage where they disappeared. During this time, Sexy Zone had gone on to sing Lady ダイヤモンド, and then they finished with their new single Sexy Summerに雪が降る.

The next part is best described as a lot of eye-candy. Takki and Tsubasa entered the stage together with some kouhais, and they all entered in small groups, doing some kind of ero dance dance-off. Takki and his kouhais lay down on the floor and started humping the air (while I was gasping for air – a combination of reaction-to-the-hotness and trying to breath through my held back laughter) and then they did some awkward ero dancing. Tsubasa entered the stage wearing, well… one of the days he was topless, and the other day he had his blazer lazily thrown across his shoulders. And he was really ero dancing! He knows exactly how to do it! I wasn't gasping for air here – I was holding my breath…

After this, Nakayama Yuma entered the stage together with some Kansai juniors, and they sang LET'S GO WEST! ~KANSAI !!~. I love love love this song!!! I had only heard it a couple of times before the events, but it's one of those songs I can't get enough of.

Then NYC had their little corner. The juniors left the stage and I saw Chinen Yuri and "this other guy" entering the stage to join Yuma, and I felt so bad after the first day because I didn't realize at once that it was Yamada Ryosuke! I kept thinking, "how can I call myself a Hey! Say! JUMP fan if I can't recognize Yamada-kun?" But then, it was the first time I saw them live, and Yamada had changed his hairstyle from what I was used to see. So I stopped thinking about it. The first day they sang よく遊びよく学べ, the second day they sang ユメタマゴ. NYC always sing so cute songs!

Next was Hey! Say! JUMP singing Super Delicate – one of their best songs. I was jumping of joy because I got to see this song live after reading the live reports from their tours earlier during the year. BL fans will understand what I mean if I say that there is a very exciting moment during the song, which includes Yamada and Yuto… Kyaa!

Takki and Tsubasa entered the stage again, wearing horrible costumes, haha! Takki had a bright pink one, Tsubasa had a bright yellow one. And they were joined on stage by Yara Tomoyuki – performing 小悪魔ジュリエット. I was soooo happy that they could perform it everyone together! Yara is the one who did the choreography for this song, and it’s so awesome, really! I was so happy to see them together! The next song was 24時間・美happy, and even though Takki and Tsubasa went different ways during the song, Yara stayed on the stage and danced together with the other dancers.

Then Takki and Tsubasa ended up on the front stage, they thanked Yara and 4U and chatted a little. Suddenly someone called "Takki~!" and YamaP appeared below the stage! He was wearing a really nice blue suit, and I thought he looked very handsome. I still can't believe he's as old as he actually is – to me he is still that little boy who suddenly grew up to be that teenager in "Nobuta wo Produce" – and after that he hasn't grown much to me… The first day they only chatted for a short while, about "Kaiki Club" for example. But the second day, YamaP brought gifts! First, he handed them both a giant flower bouquet each. Takki got his first, and Tsubasa looked a bit jealous at first, so YamaP hastily said he had one for him too. XD Then he had gifts too – some kind of pillows for the neck, which they put on at once, and Halloween hats, which they also put on. Takki got one that looked like a pumpkin – but Tsubasa got one that looked like a black cat! He looked not too amused. I couldn't stop laughing. They didn't wear those things for very long though, but performed Pride♂the END together with YamaP. I was a little disappointed that they didn't perform Circle… But I was happy that YamaP was there at all.

Next song was 山手線外回り (love love love!) and they continued with パピプペヤッポAlright! And they did this hilarious dance that reminded me of the chicken dance I did in elementary school! I think it was during this song that Takki found a baby in the audience that he kissed on the head, but the baby started crying! Then Takki found another baby but this time he only patted the baby's head, haha!

The next song, 絆も軌跡もここにある, was like a wedding song, honestly. I've read translations afterwards, and it's the.perfect.wedding.song for Takki and Tsubasa. And it was so beautiful at the events! They were standing on the main stage, singing this song to and for each other, and in the background they showed photos from their junior days on the main screen. Photos with gazes, photos where they were holding each other. Ah, I could say so much about this song, but at the same time I feel like not a word comes over my tongue. It's like, you had to be there and experience it to really understand. But it was oh so beautiful!

During SAMURAI, JUMP band (parts of Hey! Say! JUMP) joined to play instruments, which I really enjoyed. The first day, Yuto played drums, Keito played guitar, Hikaru played bass, and Inoo played keyboard. But the second day Hikaru didn't join them…

Then, カミラタマラ. Standing on the main stage, they grabbed each other's hands, kissing them, and then they ran side-by-side all the way to the front stage. My heart always beats so fast every time they do that running-hand-in-hand thing, like during Run!Run!Run! and this time was no exception. And then on front stage, Takki started caressing Tsubasa's cheeks. So then Tsubasa put his hand on Takki's cheek, and Takki got all dokidoki and made a chuu face – but Tsubasa just hugged him, haha!

During 生きてる証, Tsubasa jumped into the audience, to everyone's delight. But Takki only went around shaking hands. After that they introduced every single kouhai (well, not everyone by name since they were so many, but a lot of them by name, and then like "4U" and "Johnny's Jr" etc.) onto the stage – and everyone performed REAL DX together. It was soooo cooool!!! The whole main stage was covered by people, dancing this cool dance, and the song itself is growing more and more on me as well. I saw Takki singing this song during this solo tour, and I liked it, but it wasn't the same. This is a song that Takki and Tsubasa are supposed to perform together, and I'm happy I got to see it! It ended with a few fireworks, and then Takki and Tsubasa disappeared from the stage.

They reappeared a few moments later, going into the hot-air balloons – and Epilogue started. I cried the whole time – both days… There's so much feelings connected to this song! Takki was on the right side and Tsubasa on the left side, and during the song they were brought closer to the middle. At the end of the song the balloons were let go slightly so they rose into the air.

They sang Journey Journey in the hot-air balloons as well, and this almost killed me. First Epilogue, and then Journey Journey directly after! The song which brought me back to the fandom. Honestly, it was almost too much for me! And as if the choice of songs wasn't enough, they switched sides, so the first day Takki was on eye-level with me, and I was so excited! He didn't look straight at me, but he was definitely looking at my row or the one above or below – I could feel his gaze sooo close!

At the end of the song they jumped out of the balloons and went back to the main stage, where they sang 愛はタカラモノ – one of my favorite songs! I always get to happy when I hear it! Then they thanked us and said good-bye, and disappeared down into the stage, hand in hand, while a picture of them as children holding each other was shown on the main screen.

We called for encores, and they entered the stage again, thanking us again. Then we got encores! The first day they sang WonderlanDream and then 夢物語 together with all the kouhais. The second day they also sang WonderlanDream and 夢物語, but we called them back once more. Tsubasa then wore his t-shirt as a scarf around his neck. They bowed to everyone and then just stood there while we were asking for another encore. So, finally, they asked the kouhais to also join them, but no-one came. So Takki went to the stage entrance and called to them to enter the stage whether they were casually dressed or not! Then he and Tsubasa started singing Crazy Rainbow, and halfway through the kouhais joined them. And it was so fun because they were all either casually or semi-casually dressed. Like they really hadn't expected to be called onto the stage again. And I love seeing Johnny's guys in casual clothes!

And then, it was over. Finite. The end. No more encores. Takki and Tsubasa took each others' hands, thanked us again, and then left the stage for real. After tugging at each other, of course. And Tsubasa won, of course. So Takki followed him like a puppy, again. As cute as ever!

I am so incredibly happy that I had the chance to experience both of these anniversary events in Tokyo Dome! They weren't really as I expected them to be from the beginning, but still, they weren't that different from what I expected after I heard the rumours about who would join the event. Having all those kouhais as guests could only mean a lot of kouhai corners – and that's how it turned out. But I still think the events as a whole were really good. And even though it could have been slightly more about Takitsuba since it was the Takitsuba anniversary, I still can't be too sad about the kouhai corners – since I like many of the younger groups as well… So when all was said and done, I was happy with the events.

Waah, ten years together! I hope and wish for another ten years, and then another ten, and another ten years after that! T&T together forever, and forever in our hearts!

It's so lovely reading other's reports about these events! ♥

Ah, Takki's kissy face was the cutest, I am still so upset we didn't get to see a chuu! XDDD

Those res and yellow suits are the worst, though. XDDD

And, ahhh, Kizuna mo Kiseki is so beautiful I can't. I have troubles listening to it because i get overwhelmed by feelings every time I hear it. ♥
